THOMAS G. FERGUSON, JR.,
Mr. Ferguson was born in Spokane, Washington. He graduated from Virginia Military Institute (B.A. 1970) and Washington & Lee University Law School (J.D. 1973) where he was a member of Phi Delta Phi. He is admitted to practice in Virginia (1973); U.S. Tax Court (1976); West Virginia (1977); Oklahoma (1979), and to the U.S. Supreme Court, Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, U.S. District Courts for Eastern, Northern and Western Districts of Oklahoma. His past legal experience includes serving as Assistant General Counsel, Oklahoma Tax Commission, 1978 – 1980. He served on active duty in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corp. from 1973 – 1977. He retired from the U.S. Army Reserve with the rank of Lt. Colonel. He is a member of Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, Virginia and West Virginia Bar Associations and Defense Research Institute.
His areas of practice include insurance law, employment law and civil litigation. During his career, he has tried more than one hundred fifty jury trials in both state and federal courts. Mr. Ferguson holds an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell, been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” multiple years, and is a frequent lecturer at Continuing Legal Education seminars.
